Bottle of Water Relay

Swire Coca-Cola's Bottle of Water Relay programme in the Chinese Mainland has now entered its seventh year. Offering free bottled water to people from various professions who are required to work or stay outdoors in hot weather, the programme not only helps them stay hydrated but also shows our appreciation for their dedication and contributions to society.

This summer alone, Swire Coca-Cola held around 300 events across 12 provinces and cities, distributing more than 540,000 bottles of drinking water. In August, we distributed 5,000 electronic vouchers in Zhanjiang, making it convenient for outdoor workers to collect two free bottles of cold drinking water per person per day through our vending machines.

We also collaborated with our business partners and consumers. Shanghai Shenmei partnered with supermarkets to launch the Love Relay initiative. During the campaign, for every box of ChunYue drinking water sold by participating stores, the supermarket donated six bottles of water to workers labouring in high temperatures. In Hainan, for every bottle of water purchased by consumers from vending machines, Swire Coca-Cola Hainan donated one bottle of water.

By continuously supporting outdoor workers and collaborating with local businesses, the initiative not only provides essential hydration but also fosters a spirit of care and solidarity.
