Building Community Bonds: Reopening of the Hong Kong Coca-Cola Museum
In August, Swire Coca-Cola HK proudly reopened its newly-renovated Hong Kong Coca-Cola Museum, drawing significant attention to the Shatin plant and the museum's new features. The celebration , attended by local government officials and community leaders, was a resounding success, with visitors expressing immense pride and gratitude for this landmark facility in their community.
Our Hong Kong plant is the tallest Coca-Cola plant in the world and has been a symbol in the community for 33 years. The museum, a beloved destination that has welcomed over 500,000 visitors in the past three decades, offers an immersive journey through Coca-Cola’s rich history, featuring a captivating collection of products, memorabilia, and photographs.
Interactive displays at the museum showcase our production processes and emphasise our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Visitors leave inspired and engaged, and with a greater understanding of the vital role we play in enhancing community vibrancy. The reopening also provided an excellent opportunity for them to visit our Shatin plant, and this reinforced our deep-rooted connection to the local community.
To coincide with the museum's reopening, we launched the “We Are Shatin!” campaign, which is an initiative aimed at strengthening bonds within the community and promoting a sustainable future. Through the museum and our volunteer services, we share our rich history and culture of innovation while giving back to the community through volunteering. We are dedicated to enriching the local community, and bringing about a harmonious and sustainable future.
