With Summer Adventure as its theme, Swire Coca-Cola USA is teaming up with Maverik – a leading convenience store chain in the western United States – and the National Park Foundation to bring adventurous experiences to consumers through a marketing campaign that integrates both commercial and CSR elements.
Hiking and kayaking are two popular outdoor activities in areas where both Maverik and Swire Coca-Cola operate. Now, consumers can look forward to adding a limited-edition collector Coke can featuring prints of each activity to their collection when shopping at over 400 Maverik stores across 12 western states. In addition, by purchasing select Coca-Cola products, consumers will be entered into the “Happy Camper” grand sweepstakes presented by Swire Coca-Cola USA that will award one lucky winner a custom cargo van, US$20,000 cash, and an America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands pass.
The campaign aims to fuel the adventurous spirit of consumers while inspiring people to connect with nature by exploring the national parks. They are also encouraged to join us in donating to the National Park Foundation through the “Round Up Your Change for National Park Foundation” campaign. Funds raised will support the “Open Outdoors for Kids” programme that offers enriching learning experiences to kids from underserved communities. Contributions will also help the foundation preserve and enhance America’s national parks for present and future generations.
Whilst creating business value for key customers, we also are working to benefit our communities as well. This activation echoes our mission to refresh the communities we serve by protecting the beautiful national parks in our territory, including the Grand Canyon, Mount Rainier, and Arches National Park.
