In late March, over 100 senior leaders and digital experts from across the global Coca-Cola system gathered in Hong Kong for the first-ever DIGITECHCON organised by Swire Coca-Cola. It was our honour to have the presence of leading bottlers including Arca Continental, Coca-Cola HBC, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and Coca-Cola FEMSA. Honourable guests of The Coca-Cola Company, including: Mr Henrique Braun, President of International Development; Ms Claudia Lorenzo, President of ASEAN and South Pacific, and Mr Gilles Leclerc, President of Greater China and Mongolia of The Coca-Cola Company, also joined us at this industry-leading event.
From inspiring keynote speeches to hands-on tech demos presented by leading bottlers and technology companies, participants exchanged best practices in digitalisation and explored how data and technology can enhance consumer engagement and drive business growth.
In the Opening Keynote, Karen So, our Managing Director, identified how technology and the pandemic have changed the world faster than ever. She highlighted the significant opportunities that digitalisation brings to businesses, while also recognising the challenges and risks it presents.
She believes that in this rapidly-changing world, more partnerships and alliances will allow us to go even faster. The Coca-Cola system represents the best alliance in the world; and that by working together, we can accelerate together and win in the "new digital normal".
