Empowering Women Entrepreneurs

Coca-Cola Cambodia hosted a tour for 30 women entrepreneurs from the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) at its bottling plant in Phnom Penh. Requested by the U.S Embassy in Cambodia, the tour aimed to provide a unique experience to inspire women-in-business leaders with valuable insights into the operations of a large-scale beverage company, while also offering practical knowledge relevant to their own entrepreneurial journeys.

Our engaging tour showcased how various business principles – including supply chain management, quality control, and marketing strategies – are applied within the beverage production process. The AWE participants enjoyed watching The Coca-Cola History, a captivating cinematic experience highlighting our history; an informative presentation on our current operations and sustainability initiatives, and a guided tour of the Coca-Cola production lines. To further enhance the learning experience, we also provided opportunities for networking and a Q&A with our Coca-Cola Cambodia management team.

We hope that this tour inspired these women entrepreneurs and equipped them with valuable insights to enhance the growth of their businesses, while also contributing to the social and economic development of Cambodia.
