Community Mural Painting Event Celebrates 60th Anniversary

As part of our 60th anniversary celebrations, Swire Coca-Cola HK was thrilled to unveil a vibrant new mural at our Sha Tin bottling plant in our home market Hong Kong. In June, we partnered with a local NGO, Paint Beautiful Hong Kong, to host a community mural painting event, aimed at strengthening ties with the Sha Tin community and refreshing the visual identity of our plant with a dynamic burst of colour.

Over two weekends in June, with aprons on and paintbrushes in hand, our dedicated volunteers, alongside local community members and residents, conquered the summer heat and spent over 30 hours creating this eye-catching landmark.

Leading the creative design, Finnish artist Riitta Kuisma beautifully captured the essence of Sha Tin through cycling paths, dragon boat races, and riverside walks – celebrating how Swire Coca-Cola HK has been energising these precious moments since the establishment of our Sha Tin plant 34 years ago.
