Swire Coca-Cola, USA Volunteers Clean Up 300 Pounds of Trash from Jordan River
This summer, a committed group of volunteers from Swire Coca-Cola, USA with headquarters in Draper embarked on a meaningful cleanup mission along the Jordan River, which is located just outside our facilities. They hopped in canoes and made their way down the river to collect trash along the route.
One of our volunteers, Ivan Gonzalez, shared his experience: “Paddling down the Jordan River with a canoe full of trash and surrounded by laughter, I discovered how fun and fulfilling it is to make a real difference for our watershed.”
In just a few hours, the volunteers successfully removed 300 pounds of waste from the river. The collected items included a wide variety of debris, such as: chairs, cushions, shoes, and even propane tanks. This initiative underscores Swire Coca-Cola’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, while demonstrating our dedication to creating a positive impact in the regions where we operate.
