Mr. Nguyen Ky Phung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc City (centre, wearing white), and Ms. Karen So, Managing Director of Swire Coca-Cola (centre, wearing red), presented Tet gifts to the underprivileged.
Tet, also known as Lunar New Year in Vietnam, is a time of joy and happiness. It also holds profound importance to the Vietnamese people. For nearly two decades, our ‘Happy Tet with Coca-Cola’ programme has been spreading Tet magic to the underprivileged, elderly, and vulnerable communities across the country through collaboration with local authorities. Beyond providing mere financial assistance, this community initiative serves as a source of encouragement and motivation for people in need. It reflects Swire Coca-Cola’s ongoing commitment to fostering community bonds and creating a positive impact during the Tet reunion season.
This year, under the theme of ‘Magical Giving, Widespread Good Fortune’, we reached out to 16 provinces and cities in Vietnam. A total of 2,450 beneficiaries received heartfelt gifts valued at over US$56,000.
We take pride in being part of this initiative and look forward to continuing our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the communities we call home.
Local residents share the joy of bringing Tet to their homes with Coca-Cola.
Our Vietnam team partnered with local organisations to offer compliementary refreshments to programme participants in Hanoi.
