Heartwarming Lantern Festival

In February, our General Manager of Swire Coca-Cola, Taiwan, Linda Hu, led the entire management team in Taiwan on a visit to a local care home for moderately and severely mentally handicapped persons.

Accompanied by nearly 100 managers from across Taiwan, Linda and the team spent time with the 120 residents of the care centre. Together, they crafted lanterns to celebrate the Year of the Dragon, shared sweet soup, and assisted in cleaning the care centre. The residents were excited about the arrival of the volunteers and prepared a splendid singing performance to thank them for coming. Whether volunteers or residents, smiles were on everyone’s faces, leaving behind warm and beautiful memories of the Lantern Festival.

Swire Coca-Cola has always placed great importance on volunteer service and community contribution. Through activities such as this, we aim to embody our corporate culture. We hope that the spirit of goodwill toward the community will begin with the management team, inspire more colleagues to join in and ultimately give back to the communities we serve.
