Swire Coca-Cola, Taiwan collaborated with the local marine conservation organisation RE-THINK and our sustainability partner Taipei Impact Hub to organise a marine conservation exhibition.
In January, Swire Coca-Cola, Taiwan organised a five-day ‘See the unSEAn: Exploring Ocean Waste’ marine conservation exhibition at the National Taiwan Science Education Center in Taipei. This exhibition drew nearly 7,000 visitors who explored how endangered marine species are facing ecological challenges due to marine pollution.

The exhibition took a unique approach, presenting the perspective of a ship captain to showcase the impact of plastic waste on a local fishing port's marine ecosystem. There were interactive elements, such as underwater magnifying glasses and marine waste banquets, to enrich the visitor experience. The main causes of marine pollution were highlighted, and visitors were encouraged to develop recycling and reusing habits in their daily lives.

In addition to realising Coca-Cola’s vision of a ‘World Without Waste’ by making continuous improvement in our packaging designs, Swire Coca-Cola also aims to raise public awareness about marine conservation and inspire collective action toward a sustainable future through this exhibition.
