Since 2017, Swire Coca-Cola Taiwan has sponsored the Child Welfare League Foundation’s “I have my rights of anti-bullying” campaign to help raise awareness of bullying issues among the public. The campaign features a different theme each year, with last year’s theme being “Wow! We Are Different!” to echo the “Odd Socks Day” that was initiated by the British Anti-bullying Alliance to encourage people to embrace diversity with an innovative approach.

The campaign declared November “Anti-bullying Month” and a series of initiatives were launched. These included inviting the public, as well as teachers and students from local schools, to wear a pair of odd socks to symbolise their unique characteristics and convey the message of celebrating everyone’s individuality in an easy and fun way. An “Anti-Bullying Fund Raising Project” was also activated to help raise money for the promotional campaigns on anti-bullying. Four different socks with different colours and emojis were designed for charity sale.

The campaign kicked off on the first Thursday of November 2022, which was also the UNESCO-designated ‘’International Day against School Violence and Bullying, including Cyber Bullying". Taiwanese artist Aaron Yan, who was named one of the top 10 outstanding youths, continued to serve as the anti-bullying ambassador. We hope that through diverse approaches of social advocacy, more people will pay attention to anti-bullying issues and will join hands to create a diverse and inclusive society for all.
