Swire Coca-Cola, USA has partnered with Maverik, a leading convenience store chain in the western United States, to raise funds for the National Park Foundation through a 'Round Up Your Change' donation campaign. The proceeds will support the Foundation's 'Open OutDoors for Kids' programme, which provides children with outdoor learning opportunities. Throughout the two-month campaign period, consumers were invited to donate their spare change at the stores' registers upon checkout. With generous contributions from consumers and additional donations from Swire Coca-Cola, USA and Maverik, the campaign successfully raised over US$686,000, benefiting approximately 20,000 students.
The 'Open OutDoors for Kids' programme offers students the opportunity to explore over 30 national parks across the western United States. This initiative not only provides valuable educational experiences for the next generation, but also nurtures their love for nature.
To celebrate the campaign's success, 20 Swire Coca-Cola volunteers joined forces to clean up the Timpanogos Cave National Monument, located outside Salt Lake City, Utah. They spread mulch, cleared pathways, and cleaned fire rings to help preserve and protect the natural beauty of the area.
