Official Meeting with Prime Minister in Hanoi
In October, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh of Vietnam received Guy Bradley, Chairman of John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited (left) in Hanoi to discuss Swire Group’s expansion of investment and business activities in Vietnam.
In January 2023, Swire Coca-Cola acquired Coca-Cola Beverages Vietnam Limited, the Coca-Cola bottling subsidiary in Vietnam. Swire Coca-Cola now owns and operates three beverage production facilities, 18 production lines and six distribution centres across Vietnam with a direct and indirect workforce of over 3,500 people. 

During the meeting, Prime Minister Chinh applauded the group’s continuous investment in Vietnam and called on the group to continue expanding its operations in the country. He also affirmed that the Vietnamese Government supports and protects the rights and legitimate interests of foreign investors.

Mr. Bradley introduced the group’s long-term plan in Vietnam, highlighting its commitments to sustainable development and circular economy. He expressed his confidence in the success of the group’s business activities in Vietnam with the increasingly improved investment and business climate in the country. As part of the Swire Group, Swire Coca-Cola is excited by the enormous long-term growth potential of Vietnam, and will step up its presence in South East Asia with its investment in this new market.
