New ‘Bag-in-Box’ Production Line Commences Operation

In May, Swire Coca-Cola Hong Kong inaugurated a new ‘Bag-in-Box’ (BIB) production line. As one of our key production lines, BIB specialises in packaging beverage syrups. These syrups are used in fountain dispensers, and they enable us to provide refreshing "Coca-Cola" beverages to customers in Hong Kong’s fast-food chains, restaurants, cinemas, and theme parks.

This automated BIB line has replaced most of the manual processes with machinery. This upgrade has increased our productivity by three to six times, and has created a safer working environment for our employees. To meet the diverse needs of our customers, we have introduced two additional packing sizes in our BIB line.
