In May, Swire Coca-Cola hosted the first-ever Global Procurement Conference in Hong Kong. This event brought together over 40 procurement leaders from our six key markets – Chinese Mainland, HKSAR, Taiwan Region, USA, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
With the theme of 'Taste the Difference', the conference served as a platform for participants to share best practices in procurement management within their respective regions. Through knowledge-sharing and discussions, we fostered cross-cultural communication and underscored our management philosophy of 'Learn from the best until we become the best'.
The conference featured highlights of the regional procurement strategy, market analysis, digital solutions for streamlining procurement processes, and procurement sustainability practices. Participants also explored opportunities to leverage the strengths and specialties of each market for enhancing our procurement performance. At Swire Coca-Cola, we believe that fostering cross-regional synergy is key to our success in every market.
Peter Mills, our Executive Director of Supply Chain, shared our supply chain development framework to align the objectives of procurement teams across all of our markets.
Procurement teams from different operating regions also took this opportunity to visit the Shatin plant of Swire Coca-Cola Hong Kong to understand the local business operations.
