Taiwan Wins Bottler of the Year and Competes in Candler Cup

Swire Coca-Cola Taiwan has been honoured with the prestigious award of Bottler of the Year 2022 (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and Mongolia region) by The Coca-Cola Company and represented the Swire Coca-Cola Group for the first time to compete with eight other bottlers in the The Candler Cup - the highest honour a Coca-Cola bottling partner can achieve.

The Candler Cup is named after Asa Candler, the founder of The Coca-Cola Company. Every year, over 200 bottlers participate in a fierce competition for the Cup, which is a coveted honour for each bottling plant. This year, Swire Coca-Cola Taiwan advanced to the Candler Cup finals on the strength of successful business reforms implemented over the past five years. Although our Taiwan team did not win the Cup, it stood out from the other bottlers, and becoming one of the top nine bottlers worldwide in the competition was itself solid proof of its outstanding performance and excellence.

This achievement comes as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our bottling plant in Taoyuan, Taiwan this year, making the milestone anniversary even more momentous.
