At Swire Coca-Cola, we strive to reduce waste and divert valuable materials from incineration and landfill across our markets.

In the Chinese Mainland, our Jinqiao bottling facility obtained UL2799 Zero Waste to Landfill validation with the highest platinum rating from UL Solutions - a leading global safety certification company. It is the first bottling plant in Coca-Cola China's system to receive this esteemed recognition.

To attain the platinum rating, companies are required to achieve a 100% waste diversion rate from landfills. Our Jinqiao team has incorporated waste management into its supply chain, working closely with recyclers to ensure proper recycling of the resources we collect. This achievement is a significant milestone in our standing commitment to Zero Waste to Landfill.
 

In the United States, our Bellevue team has been awarded the "Recycler of the Year – Community Impact" by the Washington State Recycling Association. The award recognises its exemplary work in waste management, as well as the creation of positive community impact.

Our Bellevue facility has a remarkable 98% waste diversion rate, reflecting our steadfast commitment to keeping waste out of landfills. We have implemented comprehensive recycling streams for an extensive array of valuable materials within the facility. Apart from our recycling endeavors, the team also participated in various volunteer activities to drive sustainability within the local community.
