Volunteer Together on Earth Day

In honour of Earth Day, our volunteers from Swire Coca-Cola USA partnered with local organisations and customers to organise a variety of volunteer initiatives to save the Earth and support the communities we serve. These initiatives, ranging from beach cleanups to tree-planting projects, cover our 13 operating regions, which all work together to foster a greener and more sustainable future.

Beach Cleanup in Seattle
 
Our volunteers partnered with a key customer, the Seattle Sounders Football Club, to clean up the beach along Puget Sound with the participation of a local environmental group. We also hosted another beach cleanup event at Golden Gardens to not only preserve the coastal beauty but also collect data for waste analysis.
 

Tree Planting in Draper
 
Our local team organised a tree planting activity in Oquirrh Park, a recreational space in Salt Lake County, to make the local community a better and greener place to live, work, and play.
 

Urban Greening in Denver
 
Our volunteers collaborated with local NGOs to assist in distributing free or low-cost shade trees to residents in low-canopied neighborhoods within the Denver area. This initiative not only fosters urban greenery but also enhances the quality of life for the local community.
 

Community Cleanup in Portland
 
Our colleagues at the Wilsonville Plant partnered with a local organisation to clean up the streets near our bottling facility. This joint effort helps maintain a clean community and protect waterways by preventing litter from entering storm drains.
